and welcome! I’m Abi and this is my little corner of the world wide web.
I am a wife to my wonderfully supportive husband Ian who was the one who convinced me to start all of this in the first place, we have been together since I was 18, I like to think we are like fine wine and just get better with age. I’m also a Mummy to our precious little man Henry, we struggled to have him and so he is literally our everything.
So why this blog? It all started with an Instagram account at the beginning of 2018.
One evening Ian and I wandered into a beautiful interiors shop in Bristol, Henry was only 3 months old and it was late so we were rushing to get back to our hotel room to put him to bed. I grabbed a business card and thought nothing of it. When we got home I looked at their website and saw they did wholesale.
This sparked an idea in me, I had an idea to start an instagram account an market a few select pieces via the account and the new ‘shoppable’ feature, Ian gave me the courage to just go for it.
I quickly realised trying to run an online shop with a little baby in tow was quite tough, however I found that I absolutely loved creating content for my feed and so I just continued creating for the joy of it.
I never expected it to grow as it did and was overwhelmed to see my followers rising and with that came an incredibly positive community who have always been so supportive and for which I will always be grateful.
This blog is meant to be an extension of that feed, I never really get to dig deep into topics close to my heart on Instagram, as it doesn’t feel like the right platform, so I wanted to create a place I could share a little more about our life as well as keeping a record for the future and for Henry.[/spb_text_block] [/spb_column] [spb_column col_sm=”6″ padding_horizontal=”0″ width=”1/2″ el_position=”last”] [spb_image image=”15676″ image_size=”full” frame=”noframe” caption_pos=”hover” remove_rounded=”yes” fullwidth=”no” overflow_mode=”none” link_target=”_self” lightbox=”no” intro_animation=”none” animation_delay=”200″ width=”1/1″ el_position=”first last”][/spb_image] [/spb_column] [/spb_row]
